SafeTouch Breast Lump Relocation Marker Sheet

Creator of SafeTouch Marker Sheets

Dr. James Rusin, MD, MBA I have had the opportunity to be both physician and patient and I much prefer the role of physician. As a patient, fear overwhelms you when you know something is wrong inside of you. Your mind seems to work overtime to come up with an ever-expanding list of the absolute worst possibilities. Every ache and pain, every misstep, every apparent memory lapse is haunted by the thought that it might be a sign of something worse. Nothing seems to happen fast enough to get your problems resolved and there is no patience with bureaucratic bumbling. You want answers, you want them now, and you want them explained to you in a way you can understand them.

In Medicine, many things are done the way they are only because that is the way they have always been done. In regard to breast examinations, there has been the problem of communicating the exact location of discovered breast lumps. Whether the lump was found at home, as part of a breast self-examination, or in the physician's office, as part of a yearly exam, there has always the problem and hassle of trying to explain to the next examiner exactly where you found the lump and hope they find it. It shouldn't have to be this stressful.

We developed SafeTouch(TM), to take some of the fear and tension out of the discovery of breast lumps. SafeTouch(TM), is intended to be a simple tool for recording the location of discovered breast lumps. When you use SafeTouch(TM), you will have something in your hands that shows exactly where the breast lump was found. We feel SafeTouch(TM), will save you some of the stress, aggravation, and time involved with repeatedly attempting to explain where your breast lump was found.

"... I have had an opportunity to use the product and can vouch for its reliability in reproducing for a surgeon the location of a suspicious lump."
